While making this, I was imagining a more aesthetically sober and contemplative game with interesting puzzles and a solid story. I had Jules Verne stories in mind, as well as the movie "The Neverending Story" and some othre influences. it wouldn't be right if Alice was the main playable character of this game, so I imagined that it was her little sister, Edith, to whom Alice used to tell the sotires of her adventures. Edith was more into early science-fiction, like Jules Vernes stories. that is why the world she sees is a mix of her own imagination and the imagination of Alice.
