We are making a major change to our website, adding player accounts. To create an account, you simply pick an Account Name and a Password. Once you have an account, you get the following benefits:

• You can see an on-line record of your games, your download instructions, and your unlock codes.
• You will be able to post your scores on our Leaderboard.
• You will be able to post messages on our message boards.
• We have several exciting new products coming out that use your account.

Accounts are eacy to create and are free. We don't keep any of your private financial information in your Account (in fact, we never even see your credit card informnation unless you fax it to us). An account is a safe, easy way to enjoy all of our fun puzzle games!

Creating your Core Games Account

To create your Account, visit our website at www.coregames.com. Click the 'Register' button in the left menu bar. On the next page, pick an Account Name (up to 10 characters long) and a Password. When you click 'Submit', your account is created. That's all there is to it!

Using your account

Once you have created your account, you can log in to your account from almost any page on our website. Enter your Account Name in the left menu bar, then click 'Login'. On the next page, enter your password, then click 'Submit'. You will then be logged in. To log out of your account, click the 'Logout' button in the left menu bar.

Viewing your unlock codes

When you buy new products in our store, you will log in to your account. Your account will then keep track of which games you bought, your computer's Version Key, your download instructions, and your unlock codes. From your account's main page, click on 'See my codes' to see a list of all your games and their codes.

If you ever reformat or upgrade your computer, you can enter your new Version Key on this page and instantly see your new unlock codes. You can also review the download instructions, and you can also have this information emailed to you.

You are able to register up to 4 codes for a given game. When you are completely done with a version key, you can deactivate it in this section. Every six months we will go through and delete all deactivated version keys, meaning you will then be able to register a new version key in its place. In the unlikely event that you will need more than 4 codes in a six month period, email us and let us know your situation and we will deactivate some of your old version keys if needed.

What about your old purchases?

If you have already bought products from us, your new account won't have a record of these games. No problem! After you create your new account, simply click on the 'Contact Us' button in the left menu bar, and send us your name, your Account Name, and your email address. We will look in our off-line records, then add your purchases to your account. After that, you can see all your purchases and codes in the 'See my codes' page.

Posting scores to our Leaderboard

The new version of Rich Diamond can directly upload your scores to our Leaderboard. The game will only upload the scores if you tell it to, but if you do upload your scores, you can see how you rank against other players of the game. In addition to showing the players' scores, the Leaderboard also displays various awards that you can receive, such as an award for solving 100 levels.

To make use of this feature, simply download the latest demo version of Rich Diamond, then install the demo over your existing game. If you already own a version of the game, the new demo will become the new full-featured game. The first time you run the new Rich Diamond, it will prompt you to enter your Account Name and Password. The program will then link to the web to verify your account information. Once this is done, you can upload your scores by clicking on the 'Leaderboard' button in the main menu, then selecting 'Upload'.

You can see the current standings on the Leaderboard either from within the game, or on our Rich Diamond website (www.richdiamond.com/cgi-bin/hsl.exe). Within the game, click on the 'Leaderboard' button, then click on 'View'. On the website, click on the Leaderboard button in the left menu bar.

Posting messages on our message boards

If you have been viewing our message boards over the last couple of years, you know that we have been plagued by spammers. We have encorporated tools in the past which helped to reduce the incidence of spam. We will soon be incorporating the Accounts into the message boards. Anyone will be able to view the message boards, even without an Account. To post a message, however, you will need to log in to your account.

Editing your account information

From your main Account page on our website, you can edit your account information by clicking on 'Edit my account'. We recommend that you add your email address to your account, so that if you forget your account name or password we can send that information to you. Also, if you purchase CD versions of our games, we need your address so we know where to ship your CD. If you don't want that information kept within your account, feel free to delete the information once you have received your CD.

Please know that we always keep your information confidential, and we will never sell or give your information to anyone else!
